38% growth for TomTom fleet management in 2013
TomTom saw its fleet management business grow by more than a third in 2013.
Around 330k vehicles are now managed by TomTom Business Solutions’ technology, 38% more than the 239,000 in January 2013.

More than 27,000 clients now use TomTom’s fleet management service to manage vehicles driven in more than 60 countries.
TomTom’s Webfleet product records data on fuel consumption, speeding, harsh braking and steering, info which is fed to drivers in real time through their navigation devices and back to managers in through fleet management software.
The first quarter of 2014 will see TomTom launch a new device designed to help small businesses take advantage of connected car technology.
Customers plug the device directly into a vehicle’s diagnostics, cutting out any installation charges and making the device a cost-effective, entry-level track and trace product.
