Mobility provider Alphabet has delivered more than 1,000 vehicles through its Partner channel in just three months.

Alphabet Partner was launched in October 2014 with the aim of providing SMEs with access to Alphabet’s full suite of funding fleet management and advanced mobility solutions through a network of 34 brokers.

The reaction has been more positive than expected with an average of 333 vehicles delivered every month since launch.

‘Credible and reputable’

Gavin Davies, Alphabet’s Head of Indirect Sales [pictured far right], said that surpassing 1,000 deliveries within the first three months of the programme’s launch was “a real testament to the value of the new channel and the quality of our brokers”.

He added: “Being a newcomer in a well-established marketplace can present its challenges, however, we’ve demonstrated that we are a credible and reputable entrant, who should be taken seriously.

“We’ve invested a lot into our Broker channel, and will continue to do so over the next few years. In the space of a few months we’ve already managed to deliver a broad range of multi-make vehicles, including healthy numbers of EVs and LCVs.”

Mr Davies hinted at bigger things for Alphabet Partner: “This is only the start of things to come.

“This was never a short-term initiative for us; we’ve entered into a three year agreement with our brokers and can only expect the volume of deliveries to continue to grow as the channel matures.”

From the 1,000 vehicles delivered so far, almost 5% were electric vehicles (49), and just under one in ten were light commercial vehicles (90).

Award win

Alphabet was recently named European Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan in recognition of its Alphacity car sharing solution.

A study found that Alphacity ranked top in the corporate car sharing category, offering best-in-class flexibility, freedom, convenience and cost-efficiency to corporate customers.

The award was a ‘great honour’, according to Carsten Kwirandt, Head of Marketing and Business Development at Alphabet International.

“At a time when convenience, sustainability and cost-efficiency play increasingly important roles for companies, more and more companies are realising that our AlphaCity Corporate Car Sharing solution cleverly fulfils all requirements and marks the start of a new era in Business Mobility in their premium corporations,” Kwirandt commented.
