Lex Autolease has launched a new online tool to help company car drivers select and manage their vehicles.

The fleet management company’s Driver Portal provides a breakdown of costs such as BIK, Personal Use Contribution / trade down and fuel.

It features a range of tools designed to help drivers looking for a new company car to make more informed choices about their next vehicle.

Costs can be displayed monthly, annually or over the contract length, to outline how seemingly minor differences in fuel costs or emissions can snowball over the course of a three or four year contract. Users can also book services, repairs or arrange for replacement tyres.

Christian Hook, eCommerce Manager at Lex Autolease, said: “We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our customer service through innovative new features, especially on digital platforms.

“Our aim has been to create a website that provides drivers with a similar experience to other consumer websites they may use on a regular basis such as Amazon, eBay and those operated by high street retailers.

“We understand that drivers have differing requirements and the factors influencing their choice of vehicle varies considerably. The Driver Portal is designed to help drivers make an informed choice and find the vehicle that best suits their personal needs.”

Driver Portal can be accessible from PCs, smartphones or tablets at driver.lexautolease.co.uk.
