Maserati reveals updated Ghibli GranLusso
Maserati has unveiled a tweaked version of its Ghibli saloon, which benefits from a minor facelift and some updated technology.
It’s also had a name change – the Jaguar XJ alternative now gets the moniker of Ghibli GranLusso, and the fresh car will make its public debut at the Chengdu Motor Show in China on 25 August.
The changes really aren’t too major, but the exterior now features an all-new front bumper and chrome trim – very similar to the look seen on Maserati’s newest car, the Levante.
Round the back changes are even more subtle, although the rear diffuser has been redesigned to give it a sportier look and, according to Maserati’s press release provides “a substantial improvement of aerodynamic efficiency”.
The interior hasn’t been reworked at all, although new tech includes Adaptive LED headlights and new Advanced Driver Assistance Systems options have been confirmed, hinting that Maserati is heading down the autonomous route.
We don’t know when the updated Ghibli will hit the UK, although you can check out lease rates for the current Ghibli range by clicking here.
