Mercedes-Benz announces pricing for all-electric, 92-mile e-Vito van

The highly-anticipated Mercedes-Benz eVito, which offers a 92-mile average range and six hour charging time, 85 kW of power and 300 Nm of torque, goes on sale today.

Priced from £39,895 for the Pure L2 model, the e-Vito has been aligned with the current Vito range and offers a similar standard specification. This includes hill start assist; electrically adjustable heated exterior mirrors; sliding doors on both sides of the vehicle; wood flooring; and an adaptive brake light.

In addition the eVito also offers a four-metre charging cable and a CanTrack vehicle tracker. The L2 model offers 6.0 m3 cargo volume, 2,277 kg kerb weight, 3,200 kg GVW, and a payload of 923 kg.

A slightly longer Pure L3 is priced from £40,415. The L3 offers 6.6 m3 cargo volume, 2,302 kg kerb weight, 3,200 kg GVW, and a payload of 898 kg. Both models are eligible for the government’s ultra-low emission grant which offers a 20% reduction on the vehicle purchase price.


Moving up the range, the eVito Progressive offers additional perks including colour coded bumpers, full wheel covers, front fog lights, headlight assist, 75mph speed limiter, lumbar support and electrically foldable mirrors, all as standard. Progressive L2 is available from £41,600 and £42,120 for the L3 variant.

Mercedes-Benz are also offering three years access to PRO Connect for free across the range. This allows drivers remote access, drive style monitoring, real-time variable servicing monitoring, parking time monitor and also includes a drivers log. Users can also pre-condition the heaters and check the nearest vehicle charging options.

Following the launch of the e-Vito, Mercedes will unveil the eSprinter panel van later in 2020.
