Renault unveils new Megane coupe-cabriolet
Renault has revealed its new Megane coupe-cabriolet model as the brand continues the renewal of its range. Having recently released details on the new Megane Coupe, Hatch and Sport Tourer models, the carmaker reveals that like these other three, the coupe-cabriolet will also benefit from Renault’s new brand identity including new logo, new bumper and re-sculptured bonnet.
The cabriolet will also make use of the new R-Link multimedia system, including a smart chrome-trimmed seven inch display which can offer a line-up of connected applications including email and weather forecasts.
Still with the coupe segment’s largest panoramic glass roof, the cabriolet includes a standard fixed wind deflector, unique to the segment which minimises turbulence to provide maximum comfort for all four passengers when travelling at speeds of up to 55 mph.
The new coupe-cabriolet can also be ordered with an optional removable mesh deflector screen that allows two occupants traveling alone to benefit from extra protection against buffeting at all speeds.
Full UK pricing and specification will be announced soon ahead of the model’s launch next year.
Meanwhile the new Mégane (from £16,745), coupé (from £17,645) and Sport Tourer (from £17,745) are already confirmed for UK launch in January.
