Facelifted Skoda Karoq showcased ahead of full reveal
We’ve been treated to a glimpse of the upcoming Skoda Karoq ahead of its full reveal on 30 November.
Featuring a revised look, here’s what we know so far.
Skoda Karoq facelift design
The sketches reveal what we can expect to see when the car is revealed in full later this month. Up front, you can see that the bumper, grille and headlights have all received a refresh.
The grille is more angular and flatter than before, while the lower set of lights are a different shape too. The lower portion of the bumper looks sharper too, thanks to a wider air intake.
At the back, the tail lights have also been updated with the new car sporting a set that extend further into the boot than before. The section within the main body is also thinner than before, without the angular look of the current car.
Skoda Karoq interior
No sketches of the interior have been revealed, but we should learn more in the coming weeks ahead of the car’s reveal.
It’s likely to get the latest version of Skoda’s infotainment system and feature an updated digital driver display. There may even be a raft of new safety tech, but changes won’t vary too dramatically from the current car.
Skoda Karoq drivetrains
There’s been no details revealed on the engines either, but the Karoq will likely be available with the current line-up of petrol and diesel engines.
Mild-hybrid tech is likely to feature, although there won’t be a plug-in if Skoda is to be believed; it’s previously said that only the Octavia and Superb range will feature a PHEV for 2022.
Skoda Karoq reveal and release date
The updated Karoq is set to be revealed on 30 November, with deliveries commencing in the opening months of 2022.
