For a short time only, visitors to Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey will be able to climb up a man-made “iron mountain” in a 4x4, tackle a mid-air see-saw and experience a 45 degree descent back down to earth as part of the G-Class Vertical Experience.

Mercedes-Benz engineers have used their expertise to devise as many ways as possible to test and challenge the formidable off-roader to ensure that it continues its legacy of being able to conquer any terrain.  As a result the G-Class Vertical Experience has been created which will be open to visitors from 29 July, for 10 days.

Mercedes Iron Mountain

Built to replicate a mountain near the Graz plant in Austria where the G-Class is tested all year round, this man-made iron structure is billed as providing one of the most extreme tests possible.

G-Class Vertical Experience passenger rides at the Weybridge site, cost £10 per person and are available to purchase on the day of visit. Alternatively, when you redeem an adult or Under 16s Driving Experience they cost £5 per person.

The G-Class Vertical Experience is just one of the many new attractions and exhibitions at Mercedes-Benz World.

There is also the Stars and their Cars new celebrity exhibition, the Silver Arrows Display Team and Under 16s Driving Experiences.

Youngsters can enjoy their first drive in a miniature Mercedes-Benz at the indoor Little Learners area and mum and dad can treat themselves to an AMG or 4x4 off-road Driving Experience.
