Are you looking forward to the four-day weekend? It may have only been a short week this time but that doesn’t mean the car world was short of action. Here are the highlights:

MX-5 named World Car of the Year: Judges at World Car Awards deemed Mazda’s iconic roadster to be the best new car to hit the market in the last 12 months. It also won the World Car Design category too.
