Range Rover Evoque Autobiography: Plush new model tops revised range

  • 01 Sep 2020

A tweaked Range Rover Evoque has been revealed for 2021, with a new range-topping Autobiography model representing the most sophisticated and plush variant of the Jaguar E-Pace rival to date.

It features a host of clever new tech, enhanced trim and can also be specified with Land Rover’s latest P300e plug-in hybrid drivetrain or one of several updated petrol and diesel options.

On the outside, you can’t really tell that the Evoque has been tweaked; it’s still quite a new model after all. The only way you’ll be able to tell a new one apart from an old one is if you opt for the luxurious range-topping Autobiography.

The model features a host of external tweaks including gloss black trim pieces, a new set of LED headlights and copper-finished vents and tail pipes.

On the inside, you’ll find a revised touchscreen display. This now uses the same software seen on the latest Defender. A new air filtration system has been added, while new driver assist systems are available.

These include a rear collision alert system and a 3D camera. Naturally, plumping for the Autobiography will see you benefit from a few extra bits of kit.

A leather-trimmed dashboard and steering wheel is standard on this top-of-the-range model, as is an extra touchscreen and digital driver display.

A revised line-up of diesel engine now means both the 165hp and 200hp 2.0-litre models feature a mild-hybrid system that is designed to make the units as efficient as possible.

Three petrol models are available offering 200hp, 249hp and 300hp respectively, while the plug-in hybrid P300e gets 309hp. The latter can manage up to 40 miles on electric power alone, too.

Available to order now, the revised Range Rover Evoque is priced from £32,100. You can check out Evoque leasing deals right now or alternatively, watch our on-film review of this popular plush crossover.
