Which models are available in the UK?
There are currently two core Farizon models to choose from in the UK – the SV and the V7E.
The SV was the vehicle that launched Farizon onto the market last year, and can be had in one of five different cargo sizes, and also combi and minibus flavours too.
It features a 67kWh battery in smaller sizes, with a larger 83kWh available as an option. The largest L3H3 variants comes with a 106kWh battery to maintain its range capabilities.

What makes Farizon different?
The biggest difference between Farizon and many rivals is that the SV was designed as an electric vehicle from day one. Many electric vans currently available are adapted versions of diesel models. Farizon’s products, by contrast, have been developed on dedicated EV platforms. This allows engineers to optimise everything from cargo space and battery packaging to loading height and efficiency.

So are they any good?
Early signs suggest Farizon has done its homework. We drove the largest SV at a recent industry event and were impressed with its car-like levels of comfort. UK reviews have praised the SV's generous equipment levels, practical load area and competitive pricing.
Reviewers have also highlighted how refined the van feels on the road, with passenger-car levels of technology and comfort helping it stand out from more utilitarian rivals.
Safety credentials are equally encouraging. The SV has achieved a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, placing it alongside the safest commercial vehicles currently on sale.

Of course, as a newcomer, Farizon still has something to prove. Long-term reliability, residual values and dealer network coverage are areas where established manufacturers maintain an advantage simply because they have decades of experience and support infrastructure behind them.
That said, similar concerns were raised when brands such as Kia, Hyundai and more recently BYD first entered the market. History suggests that consumers who dismiss new brands too quickly can sometimes miss out on excellent value.
