Styling
With its compact size, the EV2 is perfectly suited for city streets, yet it still has the bold presence you expect from an SUV.
Wheel options range from 16 inches to 19 inches, giving drivers plenty of ways to customise the look to match their personal style.
Interior and Technology
Step inside, and the EV2 surprises with space that rivals larger vehicles. Its 2,565mm wheelbase allows flexible seating options, letting you choose between a five-seat layout or a four-seat setup with sliding and reclining rear seats.
The new rear seats are designed for real-world practicality, with legroom ranging from 885mm to 958mm. Slide the seats forward, and the boot opens up to 403 litres, with an extra 15-litre front storage compartment for smaller items.
Tech lovers will be impressed too! The EV2 comes with Kia’s latest triple-screen ccNC infotainment system, featuring a 12.3in driver display, a 5.3in climate control screen, and a 12.3in central touchscreen.
The EV2 also offers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and connectivity features usually reserved for bigger, pricier models.
Powertrains and Charging
The EV2 offers two battery options: a 42.2kWh standard-range battery and a 61.0kWh long-range battery. These deliver expected driving ranges of up to 197 miles and 278 miles, letting you go further between charges.
Both batteries use a 400V system and support rapid DC fast charging. The standard-range model powers up in about 29 minutes, while the long-range version takes around 30 minutes. For the first time in a Kia at launch, the EV2 also supports 11kW and 22kW AC charging, making it easier than ever to charge at home or at public stations across Europe.
