Chinese-owned MG has revealed its highly anticipated EV-roadster, the Cyberster.
The Cyberster is a two-seater sports car that takes inspiration from MGs of the past like the TF.

The Cyberster greets you with automatically opening twin scissor doors, making every entry an event.
Inside, the cabin maintains the timeless two-seat layout of a British roadster, yet positions both driver and passenger at the heart of a modern, interconnected, and cutting-edge journey.
Five exterior colour options are available, ranging from the timeless New English White to the lively Inca Yellow, complemented by the contrasting black lower trim. With the inclusion of roof fabric and exterior paint variations, there are a total of 32 combinations to select from.
MG Cyberster Interior and tech
The Cyberster pairs its electrifying performance with a lavish and cutting-edge interior, elevating the grand touring experience into the electric age.
This cabin offers amenities typically found in ultra-luxury GTs, including 6-way electrically adjustable heated seats with memory function and electric lumbar support. Complementing this is a unique heated steering wheel with 4-way adjustability and twin paddles for kinetic regeneration, striking a balance between elegance and dynamic sportiness within the cabin.
At the heart of the interior is a wraparound three-screen cockpit, featuring a 10.25-inch driver display surrounded by two 7-inch displays. Additionally, a color display positioned in the center console offers touchscreen access to the dual-zone climate controls.
The vehicle boasts a wide array of infotainment features, including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, DAB radio, and voice recognition. Standard amenities also include a 360° parking camera and twin USB ports.
MG Cyberster drivetrains
The Cyberster GT is set to become MG's premier offering, boasting the highest power output ever seen in the brand's century-long history: a formidable 503PS and 725Nm of torque. This all-wheel-drive GT, equipped with dual motors, showcases remarkable acceleration, clocking in at an astonishing 3.2 seconds for the 0-62mph sprint.
The Trophy also boasts impressive power statistics, offering 340PS alongside a confirmed maximum torque of 475 Nm. It accelerates from 0-62mph in a mere 5.0 seconds.
The 77kWh battery found in both the Trophy and GT models offers an outstanding balance of range and performance. The Trophy achieves a maximum range (WLTP) of 316 miles, while the GT, tailored for heightened performance, achieves a range of 276 miles.
MG Cyberster release date
The first UK deliveries of the new MG Cyberstar will be in August 2024. We’ll bring you leasing plans as soon as they’re available.
