Kit spruce-up for Citroen C1, all manuals still sub-100g/km
Equipment and trims for Citroen’s C1 have been updated with the addition of two new trim levels.
The C1 Platinum replaces the VTR+ as the range-topper and starts from £10,345 OTR, £200 less than the VTR+.
The top grade C1 now features a Carlinite Grey roof with colour-matched rear spoiler and door mirrors and is available in two body colours: Agrume Red and Lipizzan White. A third body colour option matches the Carlinite Grey roof.
Other standard features include Bluetooth, USB connectivity, dark-tinted rear windows, shiny black interior details and front fog lights.
The C1 Edition replaces the VTR trim, costing £9,670, and comes standard with 14-inch alloys, air con, rev counter, front electric windows, body colour door mirrors and door handles, high-frequency remote control central locking, daytime-running LEDs, rear head restraints and black grille with chrome finish surround.
Entry level VT car now starts from £8,095, £100 more than when the car was facelifted in March 2012, but with the same amount of equipment.
Every C1 comes with 14-inch wheel covers, radio/CD player with aux input, rear 50/50 split folding seats, ISOFIX in the back, power steering, EBD, EBA, CSC, ESP, and curtain and front occupant airbags.
All manual C1 models are VED-exempt with CO2 emissions of 99g/km and a combined mpg of 65.7. Only the ETG automatic C1 lets the side down with 104g/km.
